to LOVE picking out the fluff from my baby's toes

I friggin' love it. 11 weeks old, gets fluff between his toes and fingers all the time, from the lint in his sleepsuits and socks. A most satisfying activity. It's certainly not as gross as squeezing your partner's spots, is it? (And we all know plenty of people do that)

Today's fluff harvest (see photo) was so plentiful I was inspired to find a small trinket box to save it in and present as a gift to DH when he returns home from work.

No.

Whatever floats your boat!

Shock

I thought it was just me! DH says I'm odd but I love It. Have happy memories of defluffing my own toes as a child too.

Where does toe fluff go when you grow up?

MummyPig24 · 12/08/2014 14:38

I like doing it. Ds2 doesn't like me doing it much because he has tickling feet.

bigkidsdidit · 12/08/2014 14:39

DS2's fluff really smelt! No idea why. Now he's walking and wearing shoes he doesn't get it any more :(

creamoftomato · 12/08/2014 14:40

Oh yes!!!!! This is my absolute favourite activity with my 20 wo DS at the moment. If I have the willpower I like to let the fluff build up for a day or two for an even more satisfying defluffing experience. Lovely.

MyFairyKing · 12/08/2014 14:53

YANBU, I still get toe fluff and love removing it. Your baby's toes are much cuter than mine though!

PrincessOfChina · 12/08/2014 14:56

My favourite thing is picking the wax from DD's ears. She's 3.5 now and won't let me do it but I spent hours doing it when she was tiny.

2LittleFishes · 12/08/2014 15:02

I love this too!

My toddler now sits herself down an defluffs her own toes then puts it back

Only reason I had her little brother was so I could do his Grin

Sallyingforth · 12/08/2014 15:43

That's really sweet! Almost makes me feel broody.

Flingmoo · 12/08/2014 15:46

Yay, so glad I'm not alone with this obsession hobby!

softlysoftly I believe in men it migrates to the belly button. And I can't speak for all mothers here but I think that many of my brain cells have been replaced with toe fluff since becoming a mum, although the process started some time in my first trimester...
