Aibu to expect my London cheese cake to have jam!

A little bit of context:
Been thinking loads about them and walked past a gregs everyday and saw it in the window. They remind me of my nan, her brother used to bring her one in to hospital when he visited, she didn't like them but didn't have the heart to tell him, hence lucky me got one weekly!!

Any way I finally bought one. Munching through I discovered no jam! What the hell?! Just loads of puff pastry, icing and coconut? Aibu to expect out of 4 key components to only get the 3? I am sorely disappointed :(

Yes we never called them 'London cheesecakes' in London. It's a bit like going into a pasty shop in Cornwall and asking for a Cornish pasty. Of course it's going to be a Cornish one.

I've never heard or (or seen) one of these. Nor has DH. They don't sound great, tbh.

London Cheesecakes were once my favourite thing to eat from Greggs. Never see them in there now.

When I used to have them, the jam was always a teeny, tiny splodge in the middle. I used to eat round it because I hate jam.

Ooh - now there's something I'd like to try. I'm a Mancunian and I can't stand Manchester tart - the custard is just too rubbery and it reminds me of the worst of school dinners. London cheesecake, however, really appeals.
