(not serious) DS thinks mr tumble is great, but watching him and his 1000 personas makes me wonder what he does for hobbies outside of work.. he seems like he was born to crossdress, hes just so into it!

Oh and the robot in Justins house, he is fantastic! Sarcastic, clever, funny... I love him! Pissed off that we couldnt get to the CBeebies prom, he was in it!

Heathcliff27 · 09/08/2014 01:09

There was one episode where Justin was helping some kids clean out their pet rabbit. My kids now have great delight showing everyone they know the sign language for rabbit poo

Hurr1cane · 09/08/2014 01:19

Oh no, not cross dressers, my best mate is a drag king (woman who dresses as a man) my DS is obviously going to be scarred for life now.

Or... He just won't give two shits about what people like to wear like I don't....

SputnikSausage · 09/08/2014 01:22

I really like him but there is something sinister about that fake laugh he does.

"Hellooooh! Heh heh."

aurthersleep · 09/08/2014 07:04

As an all round entertainer Justin does female characters as well as male and so being female it is only natural that they dress in female clothes, now if you see Justin round town on a Saturday night dressed in a mini skirt, high heels and stockings, blonde wig etc then you have a story

zazA09Jane · 09/08/2014 08:06

hurr1cane take your attitude elsewhere. your obviously having a moment if you have to comment something bad when I didnt say there was anything wrong with cross dressing.

bronya · 09/08/2014 08:20

I can't stand him. Love the idea of the programme, but not the way he does it. DS isn't interested, thank goodness. I'd rather watch endless Peppa Pig!

beccajoh · 09/08/2014 08:21

I bet he's rich though. He's in every other show on cbeebies.

Hurr1cane · 09/08/2014 08:55

You said 'he's a bit too into cross dressing'

Why?

Can't he do what he wants? I read the thread and people asked what you meant and you didn't clarify

I love Mr Tumble watching him got me my last job as a support worker, I impressed them with my Makaton.

Pinkrose1 · 09/08/2014 09:23

He's great and so lovely with children. DS loves lord tumble and my favourite is aunt polly! Basically all the dressing up and short clips in giggle biz make it just the right mix for small children.

yongnian · 09/08/2014 09:26

Justin is genius...a genuinely talented entertainer (all too rare on kids tv IMO). I'm kinda glad he's stayed off the strictly/sleb circuit...he kept my now 8yo entertained for years (she still laughs about the fella in the jungle who keeps tripping over pandas) and hopefully the re runs will still be on when DD2 is old enough.

Ham69 · 09/08/2014 09:32

What Readyforno2 said. Can we talk about Mr Bloom instead?

DiaDuit · 09/08/2014 10:06

Think youre the one with the attitude OP. people gave asked you to clarify and youve ignored. Your thread title implies you think there is something wrong with cross dressing, otherwise what would be the issue with someone being 'too into it'?

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 09/08/2014 10:18

I dont care if he's "too" ( Hmm ) into cross dressing (by the way, i have a feeling "cross dresser" itself is an offensive term, dunno if someone can clarify that??)

He's just a wanker.

Hurr1cane · 09/08/2014 11:28

Well according to some LGBT terminology it's 'transvestite' that's derogatory.

Under transvestite it says "derogatory, see cross dressing"

They say this about cross dressing:

Cross-Dressing
To occasionally wear clothes traditionally associated with people of the other sex. Cross-dressers are usually comfortable with the sex they were assigned at birth and do not wish to change it. "Cross-dresser" should NOT be used to describe someone who has transitioned to live full-time as the other sex, or who intends to do so in the future. Cross-dressing is a form of gender expression and is not necessarily tied to erotic activity. Cross-dressing is not indicative of sexual orientation.

MrsRuffdiamond · 09/08/2014 11:39

My youngest is now 10, so Justin is a blast from the past for me!

There used to be something he was in which we all loved - not Mr. Tumble, but stories involving him and a girl who he shared a house with. They were tales of day-to-day life, usually with things going wrong.

I seem to think it was all mimed. Is this still on, or does anyone remember it?

spongebobsparepants · 09/08/2014 11:49

I think you mean Higgledy House MrsR

Deftones · 09/08/2014 11:51

My DD (6) prefers RuPaul's Drag Race than watching Cbeebies. As do I (33) Grin

readyforno2 · 09/08/2014 11:53

I'm in ham69, Mr. Bloom is hot to trot!

fackinell · 09/08/2014 11:56

I don't mind the cross dressing but the regular singing about 'chugging' does offend one. That has a very specific meaning up in Scotland. Shock

MrsRuffdiamond · 09/08/2014 11:57

Yes, that's it! Higgeldy House - thanks spongebob Smile

hazeyjane · 09/08/2014 12:08

DoJo sign for 'underpants' is on page 16 of these pages.

Ds has learnt where the buttons for 'that is' and 'pants' on his talking ipad app, which he thinks is very clever!

YANAgurl1973 · 09/08/2014 14:04

Love him. I think he reminds me so much of benny hill and he should play him in a biopic of his life. That would be fab :)
