To wear my son's happy to bed?

You know that one night a month where your period is extra heavy - well sanitary towels never q worked for me and were prone to leakage. Until one night I had to improvise as I had run out of towels, so used my son's nappy inside my pants. No leaking at all. It is amazing. Have used it on that one annoying night for the last few months. But my husband does have to see it as I get into and out of bed. AIBU? And this is not a thread about a thread. Coincidence.

Fortunately never had really heavy periods but surely can't your GP help? I couldn't cope with having to do this every month.

I used tenalady pants when I was in hospital having major flooding. I didn't want the nurses to have to change the bed or do the walk of shame with my pj's looking like a gangster had put a horses head in my bed. They were great, I highly recommend them.

But can't you buy adult versions of nappies for this?? I had very heavy bleeding for weeks after a miscarriage and had to resort to adult nappy-type things because of flooding. I have kept one just in case for the past 5 years but thankfully have still got it intact. Have to laugh at dashoflime - I identify with that sort of mad paranoia!

Grin at horses head in your bed.

Another Tenalady convert here for the heavy bleeds. I never found tranexamic acid worked for me but a course of progesterone and the super xxx plus night time tena worked but I have used nappies in the past.
