Just that, really. We've all got our windows wide open because it's boiling. WWYD? AIBU to go and knock? And say what?

We had this issue to. Our living room and DDs bedroom windows need to be open if its sunny as the whole flat turns into a greenhouse otherwise. Anything that come out from downstairs seems to come straight up to us. DH bumped into the culprit on the local shop one day and mentioned that the guinea pig was getting the munchies as a result from the fumes. He kept it quite light hearted, although Mr Dopehead apologised and said he didn't think anyone would notice. We've since haven't smelt it. I would be wary about making a formal compliant as you don't know what these people are like and you need to live there.

Thanks Teddy. We've not said anything, mainly because reasoning with a stoned person doesn't fill me with joy - she normally keeps her windows jammed shut so only been a problem a handful of times. Like I said before I don't want it to be awkward as she lives in really close proximity to us.

If you are worried about harmful effects from the smoke, please remember that caffeine (there's lots in the chocolate we give kids) kills more people than cannabis!

I'm just saying, it doesn't smell nice but it's really not harmful, although they probably have tobacco in it too which is pretty nasty.

I really would knock, be polite and say smoke is going into your baby's room, are they able to smoke in a different spot at all? Most people are polite when you're polite to them and most stoners are too chilled to pick a fight, unless they've run out of weed lol
