To think this is just a cynical and manipulative way to get round the Minimum Wage and just exploits children

Evil double glazing company (defo evil, horrible reviews online and on here about how they don't leave for hours on end, how they won't see a woman on their own in the house as they want to sell to couples)

They have recruited a load of 16 year olds, trained them for 3 days without pay and are now dropping them off in areas to get people to make appointments for quotes.

They've been out there 9 hours, no pay.

All the adults who attended the recruitment afternoon were not 'hired' but all the 16 year olds who've never had a job were.

Can't believe this shit is even legal

Zenith are atrocious and their salesmen are liars. But presumably they need to say anything and use every trick in the book to get a sale.

Would never use them again

I worked for Zenith back in the mid 90's... Bloody awful employers without any morals then. I lasted about 2 weeks before leaving. Bastards. None of this latest behaviour surprises me.

It's a bad idea from two perspectives

  1. Exploiting people is immoral and foul
  2. Which gives their brand a bad name
  3. Teenagers are not going to get sales, or even appointments

They are so stupid that even their cunning exploitation of vulnerable people plan won't actually make them money.

Wankers.

Errr three, not two (bangs own head on desk!)

littleSpud · 21/07/2014 23:48

When I was a teenager, my ex boyfriend used to do it, there was no basic wage, it was "commission" only Shock

Disgraceful and didn't know it was still went allowed to go on

I had this with Cobra. Fuck you N Power.

Chippednailvarnish Anglia did us a first class job at a good price. Be ready to argue figures. If you can pay cash, don't - we got a much better figure by borrowing through some outfit they are tied in with and paying it off the next month!
