A little late to the Sherlock party - just finished series 2.

Ok, I kinda get the Benedict Cumberbatch thing (I've seen the Molly kiss on youtube), but for me.........it would have to be Moriarty.

I think I need a cold shower.....

Haha, I had to smile when I read the topic Grin but no, it's not unreasonable. You can like and prefer whomever you wish. :)

Fram · 22/07/2014 20:47

I cannot tell the difference between Rupert Graves and Jose Mourinho! Blush

ABlandAndDeadlyCourtesy · 22/07/2014 20:49

And how does that work out for you, Fran?

Wink?

hugoagogo · 22/07/2014 20:53

Oh yes Moriarty- woof!

fram I totally get that. Wink

tiggerkid · 22/07/2014 20:55

Fram, really? :)

Fanny gallops is undoubtedly the best phrase I've heard for a long time.

Have to admit, heart lies with the Cumberbatch. I went into Sherlock late and heard the fuss about who my best friend terms as "potato head" and by the end of the first episode I turned to my DP and said "He's really rather...alluring?" - I couldn't think of a better terminology. By the end of series 2 I was hooked and wistfully dreaming of romantic encounters.

Andrew Scott (Moriarty) would get it though. Tbh, I think all of them would - Mrs Hudson included - she's a feisty one. I adore Loo Brealey (Molly) and have for a while; she's a brilliant writer and activist. Martin Freeman reminds me of my DP - short, lots of hair and funny and they look alike. Mark Gatiss is just fabulous. Lestrade...ah....Lestrade.

Lars Mikkelsen in S3 would get it too. But I'm fresh from watching original series of The Killing, so I'm all hot and bothered from passionate political figures.

Lottapianos · 22/07/2014 21:41

LOL at Mrs Hudson would get it!

mumtosome61 · 22/07/2014 21:43

It's that love of the bad boys, Lottapianos Grin - she's what my Nana would say "a game bird" (as in, up for most things, not on the game!) Wink

/may have had a glass or three of wine

VampireSquid · 22/07/2014 21:46

Watson, any day. And Lestrade. I like Mycroft for being so cutting BUT he is not what I would call physically attractive.

VampireSquid · 22/07/2014 21:47

My friend complains bitterly that due to her name, she couldn't ever be with Sherlock.

steff13 · 22/07/2014 21:58

My son also says BC looks like a potato, but I think he's dreamy.

Lottapianos · 22/07/2014 22:19

Oh so dreamy......

Mrs Hudson definitely is fab and a game bird but she doesn't get me hot under the collar!

Fram · 22/07/2014 22:40

Ha- sorry- I do not find either Mourinho/Graves particularly does it for me.

LauraChant · 22/07/2014 22:44

Watson and Sherlock. Both at once. Although I fear they would be paying more attention to each other than me.

OnlyLovers · 23/07/2014 09:51

Tanith, yes, I think you're right. I'd forgotten about that scene.

Anyhoo, bottom line, he ain't interested in me, is he? Grin

I also quite fancied Lars Mikkelsen, although pound for pound I think he's more attractive in Borgen than Sherlock.

DiseasesOfTheSheep · 23/07/2014 10:40

Having now made it half way through series 3, I am developing increasing adoration for Sherlock. So I'd like to up my request to LauraChant's both at once please. I don't even mind if they get distracted with a case / each other half way through. I can finish myself off while they're playing with each other...

Also, can those posting photos give us a little warning, please? I just dribbled coffee over my keyboard while making a noise like a sick car trying to turn over at the first set...

RiverTam · 23/07/2014 12:26

I have a whole library on my desktop, at home and at work, plenty more where they came from! Or I could point you in the direction of MN's own Benedict Cumberbatch Appreciation Society where it's hawt pics a-go-go, plenty to splutter over on there.

DiseasesOfTheSheep · 23/07/2014 13:08

Thanks, but I'm not sure my productiveness (or my keyboard) are prepared to take that sort of hit right now!

(This is taking an inordinate amount of will power to post, y'know...)

MorphineDreams · 23/07/2014 13:10

I like them both. At the same time.
