He's from my DH's neck of the woods....he stumbled upon them filming Nil By Mouth years ago.

He's definitely got SOMETHING about him...he's also a fantastic actor.

Really can't do Kevin Bacon though....Sleepers put me off him for life. He's SO hideous in that film.

I'm glad this thread has sort of derailed into Tom Hiddleston appreciation. I'd seen pictures of himand seen him mentioned in threads on here and thought 'meh'. Then I saw the Avengers films. More specifically, the bit in Thor 2 where he's in his cell, all lank haired and devastated. He's just beautiful, isn't he? Can't stand Thor though. He's all clean and polished and dull.

I've been dropping hints to DH that I want to get The Hollow Crown on DVD. As far as he knows it's just because I fancy being a bit cultured and watching some Shakespeare, and nothing to do with the cast.

Hollow Crown is brilliant. Tom Hiddleston is totally hot in it of course. But the whole adaptation is so well done. Never thought I'd like the St Swithins day speech ore than I did Kenneth. Branagh but I have to admit it is much better. I very nearly leapt off my sofa and invaded France.

That's my favourite Thor scene too! I love his bare feet dripping with blood too. It was so raw and angsty.
