To think this is a bit rude- or am I over sensitive?

Making small talk with another parent and she says
Yes, I look at my son sometimes and think oh dear, he's going to be just like yours

Do you recognise her son in yours?

Is he a bit of a handful like hers?

That's the funny thing- her son looks like an angel compared to mine!!
Hobble bobble- the other day I had "yours never shuts up"
He does actually, but this is a party and he's excited

Someone I have never met before, and who has never met my three year old, said to me at a family BBQ 'and this must be mini-stackalee, I hear he's a real livewire' I wasn't sure how to take it but have decided given tha I love him just the way he is being a live wire is just perfect.

I think your friend is rude but just get ready and prepared to give a quick response if it happens again.

Also her childis s much younger than yours... Her time will come and she'll be eating her words.

I have had people say to me 'they seem to be getter better as they get older ' ' I thought you were just not strict enough with them until my child ended up the same' (climbing / jumping etc), 'I am so glad I have a placid child and not like yours', 'do you ever get any peace ?'

All said by very good friends just being honest Grin
