To think he shouldn't do his shopping and ride home in rush hour??!!

There is a man who lives just outside my town who comes to do his weekly shop on a horse. Seriously! I have no issue with this. But. He then rides home, slowly, on the main road at rush hour. It causes chaos.
AIBU to think he should time his jaunt on his trusty steed for a different time of day?

so the horse being sober doesn't count?

I am lucky enough to live somewhere that sees almost more horses than cars. And even luckier that someone clears up all the horse poo! No idea what happens but if there is a heap one day, it is gone the next.

if only the local dog walkers did the same

I'm sure the horse actually has more right than a car to be on the road.
Not sure where I read this, but would welcome somebody who knows, officially, to comment.

You think that's bad. I used to ski in a resort where the horse and rider went into the bar together.

Try getting served in a busy bar with a horse blocking the counter, now THAT'S inconvenience.
