general anaesthetic last tue and am so depressed and anxious

I know this isn't really aibu but I guess I just need some advice and support. I think I started feeling v down on day 3. Nightmares, waking during the night anxiety, very depressed, tearful etc.
Anyone else felt like this?

Had a GA followed by large doses of Tramadol. I hallucinated that the nurses had been killed by the cleaners, who then stole their uniforms and were actually trying to kill me...

Awake after an awful nightmare! Wide awake now. Can't get back to sleep. Having a hot drink + mumsnet so trying to make the most of it..

Also, just wanted to say to those of you who are due to have surgery, I hope all goes well. Sure it will.. "Forewarned is forearmed" so rally round friends and family. Accept any help offered x
