to worry about ds age 4 on a booster seat in middle car seat?

Dh thinks he gets sick less on the booster seat instead of the maxi cos I big car seat. In the middle so he can see out. Aibu to worry this is less safe?

A booter cushion between two high backed seats is actually fairly safe as the middle child benefits from the high back protection in the adjacent car seats. Obviously ideal is 3 high back car seats but if this doesn't fit a booster cushion in the middle surround be 2 high back seats is next best option.

Hmmwhatnow - perhaps adoption is a little drastic! I think I'm trying to say that we tend to make our dcs fit in to our cars, rather than choose cars that fit our dcs. Which seems strange to me, as when we have dcs we make plans to get a big enough home, we pay out for ML, to have someone at home or else pay for childcare - changing our vehicle if necessary should be part of these calculations IMO. And then we lose jobs etc and it can all go tits up, but in fairness that is not the case for most people who say their car isn't big enough.
