Dp is out tonight, which means I only need to feed myself. I decided that I didn't want a proper meal, I wanted maltesers and Greek yoghurt (not together). There is a tesco about 6-7min drive from me, and an Asda about 15mins. Tesco's maltesers were full price, whereas Asda was selling them for £1 (I googled this prior to setting off), so off I went to Asda. To my horror, they had sold out of maltesers!! I circled the store several times in the hope that they would be stocked up by the time I returned to them, but nope, the shelf remained empty. I was so angry at this point, and I didn't have a backup plan for dinner. Reluctantly, I grabbed a bag of m&ms and a Terry's chocolate orange and went to the tills. Near the tills they had fucking 'treat bags' of maltesers. Treat bags?? They were the same price as the share bags, but you get about a third less in them! It is such a con. So now instead of enjoying a nice big bag of maltesers, I have a handful of maltesers, and I need to force down m&ms AND a choc orange. Oh and I wasted extra petrol, and I've come home in a mood :(
