To not want to bloody move over for latecomers

So we're at the cinema, get there nice and early to make sure we've got good seats, so far so good.

As it's orange Wednesday it's a lot busier than normal so the cinema gradually fills and is quite busy by the time the trailers starts.

THEN in waltzes the usher and asks everyone to move over to the right so they can get more people in and sit them together. We didn't move mind we just carried on watching the trailers and pretending we couldn't hear.

AIBU to think it's not right to ask the people who, knowing it's going to be especially busy on a Wednesday, get there nice and early to move from the middle to the end? Surely it's a given that everyone wants the middle seats and that's the whole point of getting there early? If you're coming in later than everyone else and there's no room for your group to sit together isn't it just tough tits?

Rant over, phewww..

No way would I move!
Either you've booked your seats, or it's first come, first served.
If you've not enough common sense to get to the cinema early enough to get your choice of seat, tough luck.

YANBU. We almost always arrive late and never expect to sit together.
