To ignore a cupboard full of baby spiders?

I just got out a torch to retrieve a utensil from the back of a large corner cupboard in the kitchen and the light revealed many families of spiders, including a large, pre-natal mummy spider.

I'm not phobic of the 8-legged beasties, or indeed too bothered about sterile kitchen environments, but it has grossed me out a little bit.

It's a well used cupboard with all of my pots and pans in.

I can't bring myself to hoover them out so am I being unreasonable to pretend I never saw what I saw?

Must have been covered with spider poo - spider poo, Camembert and tomato, yum.

Feeling sick now. Wish I hadn't opened this. (Nervously looks at kitchen cupboards)

Move house. Just don't tell the estate agent, FFS.

Am giggling at various wimmin who are cackling and demanding you incinerate your house. :)

I have a thought for you. Spiders eat FLIES. Shit carrying little bastards.

Hurrah for spiders!!!

I like spiders marybennett Grin

But I think they are eating each other for lack of other food - a pans cupboard doesn't attract many passing flies.

So I will set them free in a better place when I'm feeling less lazy

Right, I've rescued some of the spiders. That picture of the big spider surrounded by babies above, well there were only about 5 live small spiders left and the big spider had a massive egg sac. I think she isn't their mother, I think she'd been eating them.

YUK. I've gone off them now.

So 3 big spiders evicted plus the newest babies, all put on to the rose bushes instead. There are still at least 2 big spiders at the back, but out of reach and behind the carousel. And they're good at hiding. So I'll leave them for now and wait until/if they get in range.
