To hate it when women shave/wax their eyebrows off then draw them on?

My friend does this!! She has lovely, natural eyebrows too but she shaves them off the uses black eyeliner to draw them on. It looks awful! Each to their own, of course, but sometimes they aren't even.

I think brows that have been shaped with a bit of brow pencil to give them a little oomph look great but not drawing them on like a pre schooler.

She told me that she doesn't like her natural brow colour as its 'too dark' yet draws them on with BLACK pencil.

I am probably being unfair but just a thought. What do others think?

Oh gosh, people do this on purpose? I assumed they had alopecia or were having treatment that had caused hair loss Blush

paintedlady yes, I've seen some lovely drawn on brows!

I hadn't heard of "Scouse Brow" and assumed the painted-on-with-a-sharpie look was an American import. It's been common in the US with hispanics on the west-coast for some time.

Still, when I was a young person the fashion was for pencil-thin bows and that was a look not necessarily flattering to all. But it all goes round in circles. The obviously artificial is "in" at the moment and that includes, for some, skin-tone and especially nails right now. Some of the talons I see about I find really repulsive, so I don't have them

This lady shaves off her brows....I think her make-up is fucking amazing. She's like an other-worldly creature.

A good shape takes years off. I work with a woman in her 50s with a 20 something husband. She goes for that with dark tan and massive kohl outlines. I have gently offered my surgeons details to her because she is really pretty and if that worried, a bit of botox, fillers or a gentle life could make her happy rather than looking like someone who has been given a 60s makeover for a school play.

Shape means pluck thread or wax of the actual hairs
