I really find adverts/pitches which start with 'We all....' 'Everybody....' 'You ...'

I know they're trying to engage with the audience but they don't know what I think/feel/have experienced and I wish they wouldn't tell me they do.

I hate the Asda ads which are on TV AND Radio, so hard to escape, voiced by Mel Giedroyc, who I usually like. That patronising voice that says "you're better off at Asda"....GRRRRRR

YANBU op. I hate Asda "Chosen by you" range. No I bloody well didn't choose it! It seems to be on all their own brand products.
