Basically I gave someone I know a bag of baby clothes and I have just seen them for sale on facebook! I am really cross!

AIBU to say something?

I think it's cheeky to sell handmedowns. I gave a friend an unused baby bottle that retails at about £10, because she had the pump that went with it. I was miffed to see it for sale on FB. Not enough to say anything or spoil the friendship, but I thought it was a bit off.

Understandable to be a bit miffed, but it does take a little effort to sell stuff. Also, just be pleased that you don't have the stuff hanging around your house any more.

I don't think your being unreasonable if it was straight away, she could have mentioned she didn't need the things in case you had someone else to pass it on to.

If it was ages ago and she'd used them, if it was me I would at least mention it and offer to share the money, or give them back if you still needed them or if you knew someone that could use them.

YANBU

It's rude and tacky to sell hand-me-downs and pocket the profit. It just rubs me the wrong way.
