To be enjoying seeing the flags by the names ...

... and would like to see the option to have one stay after the football is over. Unrelated to footie.

It gives MN a cosmopolitan sort of world-wide feel, and i'm finding it interesting :)

Hovering over the flag tells you the country and i've learned two i didn't know already in an hour.

(i realise that the choice of flag doesn't necessarily denote the nationality of the poster - lots of reasons to choose a flag. Still interesting)

Good idea. It would prevent discussions like :

Poster A "My daughter's teacher was mean to her."

Poster B "Ha! Well obviously you are lying, because the schools are closed. It's August!"

Poster A "But I'm Scottish and the schools go back the third week of August!"

It's just a bit of fun.

I wanted to keep the tardis. And the dragon. But hey ho.

JerseySpud · 16/06/2014 16:46

Hang on though. We got nothing for Eurovision and that's my World Cup.

Why did we not have a "dreadful singer in bad outfit balanced on a unicycle and banging a drum" icon to celebrate that particular joy?

PrimalLass · 16/06/2014 16:46

Thank you PennySillin Thanks

ExitPursuedByABear · 16/06/2014 16:47

You can always put further info in your hover.

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 16/06/2014 16:47

Bloody hell it's only a bit of fun - if you don't like them, don't have one

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 16/06/2014 16:47

hahaha me too usual!!

CiderLover · 16/06/2014 16:48

I'm from Wales but have to settle with the England flag!

fluffyraggies · 16/06/2014 16:49

I'm not into the footie either. Just enjoying the flags. Once the WC is out the way the flags will loose the association with it i would think.

It would be great if all the flags were available. Really colourful. Lets reclaim our flags form the footie Grin

I like them and want to keep them after the footy ends - they brighten the place up nicely Football

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 16/06/2014 16:53

There's no Guernsey one either, JerseySpud. So I'm settling for this one. Maybe we can get them added for the commonealth games.

Wasn't there a dancing smiley once.

Minnieisthedevilmouse · 16/06/2014 16:57

I like the flags too. I'd use a lot. To denote say next holiday, place loved, friend from, that nights dinner. Not interested in football at all.
