If a Jammie Dodger isn't a typical biscuit then what is?!

AIBU to ask what is a typical biscuit?
Meloria · 15/06/2014 21:10

Physically I am perfectly able to have biscuits but for some inexplicable reason I don't. Just like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Anniston, I've chosen not to waste my beautiful genes on a humble biscuit.

Squashed fly biscuits are Garibaldis.

I'm rather partial to a fig roll. Or, when I can get them, Botham's of Whitby Shah ginger biscuits.

Fideliney -very funny Grin

I think it is the sort of biscuit that a modern day Galileo would not mistake for a flower.

I make a mean shortbread finger

HesterShaw · 15/06/2014 21:11

Digestive, rich tea, gingernut.

Chippednailvarnish · 15/06/2014 21:11

If you can't tell a jammy dodger from a flower, you clearly have bigger problems then the contents of Cameron Diaz's uterus.

My choice would be a Jaffa cake.

Fideliney · 15/06/2014 21:12

You may be beautiful but are you rich?

RiverTam · 15/06/2014 21:15

dark chocolate digestive, and it has to be McVitie's.

Not all that keen on 'real' Jammie Dodgers, prefer the fake ones you get in family selections. Real ones are too shortbready.

Rich Tea
Custard Cream
Bourbon Cream
Malted Milk

Meloria · 15/06/2014 21:17

I'm stinking rich. I'm richer than the Queen. I'm even richer than Elizabeth I.

I'm now daydreaming about bouquets of Jammy dodgers in vases around my house.

Chippednailvarnish · 15/06/2014 21:20

But are you following the teachings of Galileo when deciding on whether to have children?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 15/06/2014 21:20

I'm daydreaming of noblice

Meloria · 15/06/2014 21:21

I've heard noblice were very popular in Tudor times.

But Elizabeth I didn't even marry!

Are you a cobwebby spinster? That would explain your inability to eat biscuits I think.

katese11 · 15/06/2014 21:21

I actually find jammy dodgers a bit dry. .. chocolate hobnobs are the best but I'd agree digestive was the "typical" biscuit

Lorialet · 15/06/2014 21:22

Shortbread fingers, coconut rings, Nice biscuits :)

Meloria · 15/06/2014 21:22

You've found me out! I'm a ginger Miss Havisham, stalking the biscuit aisle in a huge Tudor-style ruff.
