I get this impression and have no idea why - is this my imagination or is this the case?

Where are you originally from?

I am thoroughly English.

I have a theory it's cos we're quite straight talking and don't do 'oh hello sweetie mwah' irl and so avoid places like nethuns and gravitate here where we can swear and drink and chat.

Aliceinvodkaland · 13/06/2014 21:16

Well I think of myself as British and Scottish - but for your population analysis I am Scottish and live in Scotland. But I doubt MumsnetHQ would come out with a regional analysis of membership Wink

An English woman on a secondment thought the time reference "the back of..." was very peculiar. I hadn't even noticed that anyone in the UK said anything different!

Grin Alice, are you in vodka land right now? You seem keen to join in, if not in fact actually Scottish.

sassytheFIRST · 13/06/2014 21:22

I thought the majority were London and South East? Amazed at the number of scots on this thread!

I'm English, btw. Not south eastern.
