To throw all my clothes out?

Well most of them?
Wardrobes are bursting with clothes, mainly too small
Need to declutter and get organised
I've sent 2 bags to charity shop, another two bags filled
62 items on eBay, that's the good stiff
I haven't got the energy for Anymore eBay, if I'm struggling for .99p
Shall I just chuck it all

Local clothes bank?

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 11/06/2014 14:37

Have you got a cash 4 clothes near you - might as well get a bit of money if you can. Think they pay about 60p per kilo.

yellowsnownoteatwillyou · 11/06/2014 14:39

2nd cash for clothes. I did a massive clear out and got about £60 all together better in my pocket and clear house. Win win.

I gave loads of my clothes to the local women's refuge.

Sorry to jump on your thread OP. I've never heard of cash for clothes, are they any good?

TulipOHare · 11/06/2014 18:18

Yes to Cash 4 Clothes. Nice guy came and took all my old crap away and paid me £70 for the privilege. Was mainly clothes but he also took books.

Great way to get shot of old clothes that are basically OK but not god enough for Ebay.

lifesavingnoodles · 11/06/2014 18:24

our school has a collection point for old clothes and it sells them to raise money for the school.

yanbu to get rid.... but yabu to bin them

NotYouNaanBread · 11/06/2014 18:26

Don't bin. Freecycle or charity shop.

I got rid of 2 bags of baby clothes on Freecycle recently - they weren't good enough to ebay (and I was open about this as I wanted to deter resellers) but perfectly serviceable for a new Mum strapped for cash.
