To Curl DD's hair?

DD is 5 and wants her hair 'curly' for a party today.

I dont have time to do it in rollers, but AIBU to curl it with my curling tongs?

go for it. Smile
next time, put it in rags the night before.

Can she sit really really still? I'd be scared of burning her if she moved.

Dampen hair, wrap it around bendy rollers, dry it with the hairdryer on as warm as she'll tolerate. When dry, blast with the cool setting for 5 minutes and then remove the rollers. No risk of blistered ears or neck.

I would do it, just be careful not to curl up too close to the scalp, ears, etc (I do not own bendy rollers)

My DD(5.5) has 'crinkly' hair at the weekends. I use it as a reward for a good school week. I plait her hair (in about twelve tiny plaits) when it is still damp/wettish from bathtime. Dry and 'crinkled' by morning. No way am I brave enough to use heated implements.

YANBU but go careful!
