It's vile in public unless you are at a beach or pool.

Sorry about your dad. 'If only I had a brother/dad/mother to moan about' comments aren't always well thought out and the assumption that you have never lost anyone (or else you would be grateful for every moment with every irritating relative) isn't realistic.

YANBU to not want to see any relative of yours with fewer clothes on than you have been socially accustomed to, regardless of whether nudity is our natural state or not.

:)

We're nowhere near the sea!

My brother wears hoodies, or goes topless. Drives me mad.

In public it enrages me because as a breastfeeding mother I have to keep absolutely everything covered up or people complain or stare or give judgey looks.. even if nothing is showing. Yet society accepts men walking about with everything on display. So the unfairness makes my blood boil every time I see a topless man in the street.

Last week almost outside the school there was a shirtless builder with schoolchildren streaming by and nobody cared.. even my DC were struck without prompt by the unfairness of it all as they've seen me make an effort to be discreet when feeding DC4 in public.

Yes, I should probably have better things to get cross about but I have a 2 month old right now so I think about these things more than usual!!

Eww strange topless hairy men and me with my personal space issues. Not a good mix.

Crispy that Is SUCH a good point that hadn't occurred to me before.

Otherwise, it's not my fave thing. But I'm not sure it's fair to tell men they can't take their shirts off.

CrispyFB · 31/05/2014 23:07

We should tell men they can go topless but only with a cover. Like a t-shirt or something Wink

I hate it.

My dad got skin cancer from doing the gardening like that. That and inadequate
Sun cream

If he has hair and/or moobs, he needs a shirt. Always. No one wants to see that.

I am of the firm belief that only handsome men should be allow to swan off in public with no shirt on.
