Aibu to think my mother should stop preventing me from clawing at my face/ear and poking myself in the eyes?

Also, someone keeps clawing at my face and ears and I don't like it. Sometimes they poke me in the eye. Aibu to want then to stop?

Aibu to think that actually I AM allowed to do a small poo in 3 freshly changed nappies in a row and my mother shouldn't be annoyed just because she has to wash them? She thinks otherwise.

Sometimes I have a wet nappy and I don't like it and she tries to feed me first instead of changing it straight away even though I tell her.

Sometimes she puts me down and takes my nappy off just because it is wet. I don't like it when she does that

I also like to cry a bit and root around as if I want to nurse and then when the milky booby appears I like to just stare at it open-eyed with my lips tightly pursed. When I do this she puts the booby away again Shock

So aibu to think that she just doesn't fucking get it???

YANBU OP - in my 17wks I have come to the conclusion that life as a baby is very unfair! The one that calls herself mummy gives me all this yummy milk that magically comes out of her boobies when I cry but then acts all disgusted when I throw it back up and then try and lap it up again - it's called appreciation woman!!
Also the one called daddy keeps smooshing me
against his face and gives me kisses, the mummy one does this too but at least her face is smooth, daddy's is very prickly
And, and the mummy one keeps hiding behind things then jumping out shouting peepo - does she not know how ridiculous she looks!
Anyway off now to wake the mummy one up every two hours, she calls it sleep regression, i call it entertainment!

My grown-ups decided to put me in a room on my own at night straight away. And I never got the booby thing, just the bottle thing, although this was 29 years ago and I seem to have done all right. As for the Daddy thing having a prickly face, mine had - still has - this sort of fungus thing round his mouth which felt very funny.

YANBU!!!

I'm 4 and a half weeks old and have been noticing such behaviour more and more lately!

It's fine to poo in my my nice dumbo towel (and all over my legs in the process) as soon as I've had a bath isn't? Because SHE seems to think otherwise!

I also like to do the 'stretch and clamp my gums' whilst feeding. That's normal right? Wink

Also my mum and dad have shortened my perfectly lovely name to something stupid because it's 'cute'. Selfish sods.

Why do they all seem to have such an obsession with just feeding from the boobie? I too like to just stare at it. I even grab the nipple sometimes when the feeling strikes me!

I swear my 7 year old brother is the only sane on (besides me) around here!

I am 9.5 months and have had mummy lulled into a false sense if security...slept through at 8 weeks and now uo and down every few hours just to mess with her!! Crying in my sleep for no reason has had good results for getting sleepy cuddles this week!

I am trying to walk to am really tired from all the effort but wtf is going to bed all about, indent want to sleep when I can scream instead! And then she makes me play on the floor when I am tired and want to be cuddled to sleep!

As for poo in the bath I will have to add that to my todo list but can highly recommend pooing when you fart whilst mummy/daddy is changing your nappy. Absolutely bloody hilarious!!

Babies, train them now because they just get spoilt otherwise.

In my 4 years I have learnt -

Mummy and daddy must never be allowed to sleep all night every night, once in a while for 2 or 3 nights is fine but you must follow this with waking every hour. They need to know who is in charge.

When they try to make you sleep in your own bed in another room (oh yes, they try this) vomit or poo in that bed makes them change their minds, if you can do both even better.

Mummy's boobs are really stretchy and everyone likes to see, keep the boobie in your mouth while your having a good look around and mummy will make a funny noise!

And when you can talk, if mummy or daddy do something bad punish them in the supermarket. Mummy doesn't like it when I stand in the grown up juice aisle and tell old ladies that mummy drinks lots of it instead of playing with me.

Hope these help

Ive been here for 3 years now and they have taken everything. My nappies gone. My bottle gone. My cot is gone and now my dummy. I have been doing my wees in this thing they call a potty for a while now but ive found a better place to do it on the carpet beside the potty or in bed with mummy. I have these outbursts where I fall to the floor and scream because they have looked at me or spoken. I like to eat things straight from the freezer or hide them in my tent so they smell and mammy gets cross when she finds them.

gordyslovesheep · 31/05/2014 22:33

wait until you are 12 (going on 20) you can have all the revenge you want Hmm patience little on ...patience

HilariousInHindsight · 31/05/2014 22:36

Oh you have no idea.

Wait until your 14 months.

My Mummy sits me at a high hair for all my food and I just want to play on the floor .

She tried to get me to eat vegetables and fruit but I teach her - it gets thrown right on the floor.

Sometimes it takes more than a second to listen to me - I don't like that so I will shout mamamamamamamamamama until she comes.

I'm walking but she keeps standing behind me in case I fall.

Sometimes I throw things and get told off and sometimes I pick up things and they complain what's up with that?

Just you wait. You have to keep Mummy and Daddy on their toes!

Now this night time stuff can be fun. I'm guessing you're well on the swing of waking up mummy throughout the night??
Well, soon you'll be ready for step 2 - this is when you start sleeping a bit longer and mummy thinks she's cracking the night time stuff.
You'll know cos you'll hear her telling friends how good you are through the night. Well, this is your cue to start waking up again - not every night. If you do it every night, mummy gets used to it again and starts going to sleep earlier herself to compensate. No, the trick is to have bursts where you decide to wake in the night just to check mummy is ok.
Saturday nights are fabulous for this. Chances are mummy and daddy will try to capture 'date night' once they've put you to bed. I've found out that this is them trying to have fun WITHOUT you!!! Now we can't possibly have that so it's a great opportunity to try those lungs out for size and see of they're getting louder!!

If I'd learned to smile/laugh yet I'd be doing it at this thread!

I do have 3 big brothers, but they haven't quite managed to completely break mummy yet. I guess that's why I was brought in?

Anyway I found out that she thinks I am unreasonable when I cry but don't want milk or cuddles or to be put down or a nappy change. She says I'm "overtired". Pay
I just really struggle with getting to sleep. It's like I don't want to be awake but I can't figure it how to stop, it's pretty upsetting but instead of making me be asleep she just tries to feed or jiggle me. Weirdo

Mummy has been referring to my recent behaviour as a "growth spurt". Whatever love, I call it "messing with your head" Grin

Angelto5 · 02/06/2014 21:26

OP wait till u can roll over! the grown ups love this but the best time to do it is in the middle of a nappy change when you,ve done one of ur explosive poo's & they're trying 2 clean ur bum.its hilarious!
