We were all sitting at the kitchen table earlier having our evening meal, as soon as dh had finished he got up and went in the living room to watch tv. Everyone else was still eating.

I told him after that I thought it was rude, he disagrees.

Things have been a bit tense the last few days and now he's accused me of picking fault with him.

I just don't think its setting good table manners for our dc and its him being petty.

Nah. Well I hope not. Probably just dd making excuses. There was another similar comment recently which I took with a large pinch of salt

OH is doing that at the moment but then we are not talking again over nothing at all it is incredibly rude.

It's not rude here. It would be ride if it were your custom but he suddenly changed his behaviour.

Shock

My DD's English teacher told me she could tell DD has read a lot because her writing is so good.

Wouldn't be rude in my house. If DH wants to go and watch something then, as an adult, he is free to go and do just that. As long as he has rinsed his plate, put it in the dishwasher and thanked me for dinner. Grin
