I have my 15mo twins chocolate brownies in pizza express this evening. They went to bed fine but have been up since 10.30 fucking booloo hyper. Have had nurofen and just now cal pol. I have given up and come downstairs with them as they're just laughing at me. Plus I have house guests - who have been kept awake for the past 3 hours by bonkers 1 year olds high on sugar.

I am a fucking dickhead. What time will they crash? It's like watching someone high on cocaince...

When my kids were small, they slept drugged deeply all the way from Maidenhead to just past Exeter on a good dose of Phenergan, also known unofficially those days as 'Mothers' Aid'. I imagined something that good strong must have been banned in our 'health and safety' conscious times, but apparently it's still made.

I know it is sorted now, but op you don't regularly give nurofen just because

do you?

Sorry if I misunderstood. :)

Sounds more like a developmental spurt rather than sugar to be honest.
