Today has been blighted with frustration, every time I,d try and do something it would go wrong like walking through tar.
Well we have an abundance of spinach in the garden and I had a soup recipe that I've been want to try and though I'll give it a go.
Again a bloody palava but done dd 3 yrs has just sat down to lunch and declared it her favourite and that she shall only eat this soup now.

I could cry she looked so insistent that I just gave her a big hug stiffened my lip and decided I could face the world
However have just finished cuppa am sure I have some amazon shopping to do and may just net surf for a while! Ah well!Smile

I have never been thrown a bone and tbh I might take offence if anyone ever threw a bone at me.

Your Dd sounds very cute Smile - if she's keen on spinach and you have plenty, cheese and spinach stuffed savoury pancakes have been a fave with my kids for years. (Just make a very thick cheese sauce add, cooked spinach and fill plain pancakes with it)

Hope your day continues to improve Smile

Yes. Mine are much older, and there is two of them. They usually tag team me, one will be helping himself to the last of the milk whilst the other squeals about socks having seams; however, the other day, one child went and found his shoes whilst the other loaded the dishwasher, and the child who fetched his own shoes also fetched his brother's shoes.

You have to have two kids to realise the generosity of this gesture.

Troll your right I have two and sometimes they work together and I think ah how cute other times I just get worried and feel outnumbered.

Kurri never thought about savoury pancakes that sounds yummy can I freeze the meal?

My ds took a shower yesterday without being asked or reminded. He picked up the bath mat and put it back on the rail and opened the window. I felt like putting my jumper over my head and running around like a footballer who's just scored the winning goal.
He's 11. I can't remember the last time I felt like that. Grin

Yes - they freeze well. (And if you don't fancy the faff of cooking your own pancakes, they work well (and also freeze well with shop bought plain pancakes too)

deakymom · 23/05/2014 20:06

My two have been bickering non-stop for weeks and weeks. This morning ds2 got into bed with me and said 'I think I was quite mean to ds1 yesterday. I'm going to apologise when he wakes up'. I was Shock
