to not want our nanny to bring her 2 university aged children along for a day's work?

Just that really, she asked me if she can bring them along as they are all going to theatre nearby after she finishes work. That will mean them being here with my 2 kids all day, who don't know them. I can't understand why a 19 and 21 year old would want to be here all day. We live very near plenty of public transport, they could easily just come and meet her when she finishes. I think the main reason is ease of transport. But don't want to offend her, what shall I say?

I can understand why you wouldn't like this idea. Having said that I have a couple of friends with university aged children who are amazing with kids and who would be brilliant fun! The thing is you don't know them and it IS a slightly odd request, you could understand at the end of the day but ALL day?

Have you got an amazing house/garden that they have maybe heard about?!

19 and 21? Sounds bizarre to me, YANBU.

I agree it sounds a bit odd but I don't think I'd object if you are happy with your nanny and trust her judgement.
