To tell post lady to stop walking across my lawn and flower bed.

It is really bugging me and I think a grown woman should not need to be told this isn't how she should be accessing my door. I just seen her literally tiptoeing across my flower bed.

I'm the first house in the culdi sac and she walks past my path parks her cart a few meters along next to my front lawn and delivers to all the houses. She then does me last cutting across and back again and then takes her cart walking past my path again.

Surely if she does me first and walks up the path and along the pavement or does me last walking along the pavement and up my path she will lose all of about 20 seconds.

I don't really want to confront her and also don't want to leave a passive aggressive note to her. I suppose I could get a keep off the grass sign.

Bloody annoying I agree.

Our house was new when we moved in & we had the option to change the shape of the drive which we did, as the original plan was to have a silly curve around a bulge of lawn, which anyone would just have cut straight across to the front door. Next door didn't think of this potential problem, so they have a squashed & worn trail across where people walk - I even do it myself unless it's wet, as the route from the pavement around the grass onto the drive & round to their door is tightly convoluted.

I'd speak to her & perhaps put a couple of stepping stones if it continues.

My postie climbs over the fence.

There's no damage, and I don't mind.

He wouldn't attempt a daring traverse of the 'flowerbed' with the random nettles, chooks, footballs and odd shoes in there.....
