to be upset about DH's dream

Hello mumsnet!

Please be gentle. I'm a long time lurker - hamwich, bedside beaker etc - no baby yet.

DH is currently working away. We decided that I would stop the pill, and leave it to luck when he is back ie not actively try.

So DH tells me about a dream he had. He dreamt he came back home to me and baby. And that I had not taken care of baby, and left it in a room on its own for a week.

AIBU to be upset about this? I feel that subconsciously DH does not trust me to take care of baby.

I had awful dreams when DD was a baby, I dreamt I forgot her and went out and left her alone in the house. Also (in different dreams) that she drowned in the bath and ate a packet of tablets. It's a horrible feeling when you wake up and can't remember if it actually happened or not.

I used to have terrible drwams when my youngest was tiny. people stealing her for her organs. All sorts of crazy terrifying stuff. When pregnant i dreamt i gave birth and it was a salmon. :0

don't worry about it, I've had loads and loads of dreams in which I've completely neglected my dc.

Pre dc I had plenty of weird baby dreams it's normal imo

My fiancé dreamt he ate my brain :(

I once had a dream where I slept with my own dad.

When I was pregnant with ds1 I dreamt that I kept my baby in a pickling jar it was so vivid I remember it 10 years on. To this date I have never put mine or anyone else's baby in a pickling jar.

I have very vivid dreams, and the same type of anxiety dreams on and off .

Last night I dreamt that I had drowned Miley Cyrus in a rooftop swimming pool .

DH was adamant that I should not join MN until there is an actual blue line. This thread was so much fun, and he is forgiven... For now!

It's just a dream ,lol. I dreamt I shagged the post man the other night ,have always been indifferent to him ,so doesn't mean he's thinking that subconsciously.

DH once dreamed that I'd cooked our old dog (who is long since dead, and was not eaten may I add).

Dreams mean nothing!

I once had a dream where I was being forced to turn the handle in a giant clock.
