simply to say 'why isn't this in chat?' 'Have you nothing better to worry about?' 'Shouldn't that be you're not your' etc

What is wrong with these people? Do they think there's a law that if you're on mumsnet you have to open every thread and make a comment Confused

Awww Cake

I would like to point out though that I don't actually think of MN as 'fun', that would be inappropriate and obscene given that I mostly post on AIBU Grin

I saw the thread the OP was talking about. It had a title that very clearly indicated the content of the thread and the thread itself had run to several pages of interesting and funny posts and was good humoured and fairly light hearted. Then on comes someone crossly demanding to know why the thread wasn't in chat. I mean seriously, that is a bit sad and you can't expect posters not to get irritated with you Grockle. There are tons of threads on AIBU that would also slot more logically into Chat. Are you going to police them all?

What about the recent Chalet School one which went to a thousand posts, and was continued in a second thread which has never been off the first page of AIBU and has hundreds of posts. Again, all light hearted ones and a lovely thread with no arguing or unpleasantness. Do you want to spread your love and happiness there as well?
