To think making a hot cup of tea isn't so difficult?!

My husband has the most vexing habit of starting to make a cup of tea and then buggering off. If he remembers it, the tea is cold and stewed. If he doesn't, I end up throwing away another two cold cups of tea.
I mean, it's not fucking rocket science, is it??
He's just done it again. I'm now making a fresh cup of tea to pour over his head
I dread to think how much this has cost us in teabags over the course of our relationship.
I know it's only a small thing but the small things can be the biggest irks such as his noisy sleeping
I'm sure I should appreciate the fact that he makes a brew at all blah blah blah but I'm at the end of my sodding tether!

I'm another who gets a perfect cup of tea every morning. You are right - it's not so difficult and I'm a fussy bugger.

My husband makes great tea. He won't let me make the first cup of the day as I always mess it up.

He's been irritating me this morning. I've spent the last 20 mins demanding he gets off the sofa and make more tea. He's not just got up, the bastard Angry

I too get a perfect cup of tea every morning.
In fact I never have to make my own cup of tea. DH makes all the tea in our house, mainly because he only drinks coffee and has a serious coffee machine that I don't know how to use.

To be fair, pre-baby, I did get a cup of tea in bed every morning and it was usually at least tepid...!

My husband's Dad worked for Twinings so he came ready trained and makes a smashing cuppa. :)

I think we may be married to the same man OP.

I wouldn't mind him never making tea. But offering a tea then not delivering. Well. I may LTB.

He's literally just offered me a cup of tea! Lol!
I said 'an actual hot cup of tea or a cold stewed teabag in a mug??'

Mine is similar. I have coffee if he is making because he boils the kettle and twenty minutes later remembers to make the tea with the luke warm water.

I am tempted to try to train myself to like coffee...
