I'm a strawberry Xenophobe. You'll just have to accept it.

British strawberries taste nicer. There, I've said it. I don't know why they do, but they do.

My name is Honeydragon and I'm a soft fruit bigot. Sad

You have to eat what's in season in your own country. It tastes nicer and doesn't cost air miles.

Yummy British strawberries and asparagus - nom nom nom.
We usually go to the Pick-your-own at the local farm

I ate a Greek tomato in Greece once.

It tasted so amazing I can't even look at shit tomatoes in supermarkets without going all misty eyed.

best ice cream I have ever had was in Italy.
it was 1 scoop white chocolate with whole hazelnuts 1 scoop zabaglione (sp).
I was too young to have an orgasm otherwise I would have had oneGrin

Yes they do, I will only buy british strawberries, they smell so lovely in the punnet. In fact a punnet only lasts an evening in my house of me andmy dh and dd. Oh ok, ill admit it, I was the only one eating them

My strawberries have to be not only British, but Scottish, and even more specifically be from my friends strawberry farm. They are exquisite and no other strawberries taste quite like them.

We've eaten those little flat peaches abroad, they taste wonderful - sweet and juicy. Lovely for picnics.

Eat them here, they taste of nothing and are as hard as rocks. You could break your teeth on them.

Spanish strawberries are tasteless too. Yeuch!

I hated strawberries my entire life. Then three years ago had a French strawberry, in France. Mmmmmmmmm.
