To place the recorder she has just given her approx 18month old while on the bus delicately up her bottom!!?

One of the major bus routes into Manchester at rush hour so bus is rather busy!! So I can't be the only one thinking that really can I??

what did she say? I mean, have you actually done this? Oh, please say you did, you'd deserve a medal, in fact all the other passengers would nominate you for a Pride of Britain award.

Please tell me that you or another passenger has said something? Who in their right mind gives a child a noisy and annoying toy in close quarters with strangers? Recorders sound shite even when played well.

Horrible, horrible noise at the best of time. I remember years ago on Radio 4, Woman's Hour I think, they had a group of professional musicians playing recorders; I had to turn it off.

A small child blowing on one? Hell, ywbu not to beat them both to death with it.
