To be concerned about the influence of pimps and punters on MN?

There are some very vulnerable women seeking support on this site. And yet there are several prolific posters, who have admitted on some threads they are pimps and punters, who are "advising" women.

Frankly it scares me that some women may listen to their advice. MN ban, but they keep coming back.

So please, be aware that not everyone offering advice is posting with your best interests in mind.

And please, if you get a pm from someone offering to "help" you to get into "escort work" or "sex work", ignore it and report it to MNHQ.

I'm obviously missing the more interesting threads....

I have certainly seen threads where posters talk about having "used" prostitutes, how women only do it because they enjoy the sex etc

Ruushii - I don't care about Trolls in terms of it affecting me - it doesn't. I do worry that a vulnerable woman on here might believe them.

YANBU. Yes, it happened. The thread linked up thread, I was silently lurking, considering a post, and on past experience, I knew a user-of sex workers was going to post.

YANBU! They always pop up on any prostitution/"sex work"- related thread and talk rubbish about how some punters aren't very nice, but not them, no siree! They're different and these women enjoy it. Yeah, right. And then some stuff about consenting adults, more guff...
