It worries me a lot. I almost feel as if I FAILED her by having another baby just couple of months after she starts Y7.
It will be already hard for her and on top of that new baby...Please advice me or reassure me..I am just panicking so much...

In most of England Y7 means going up from primary school to secondary school.

AveryJessup, baby was not planned but dearly welcomed.I was actually on the pill and very disciplined when it comes to taking it as I was since birth of my second dd 91/2 years ago.We wanted baby in the future when my BP gets better but it happened earlier on and we are blessed.
Thank you and I wish you all the best with your little one and his preschool. He will be so excited ,i remember my ones when they started it...They became suddenly so independent Smile

Ah, katmat, I love this:

They became suddenly so independent

Your older DD is soon to take the next big step, and if she dealt with starting school in this way, she will most likely become even more independent at secondary, and thrive on it. Maybe it is the thought of her growing independence from you that is worrying you too, even though this is a good thing.

Probably I am over thinking ...you are right mixedpeel.Maybe together with hormones and worries I am making myself more stressed when actually I should be calm.
Thank you.
