to put the heating on....

I know it's pretty warm. But I need to switch heating on to have a bath. Having a bath eases my itchiness.

DH is moaning and making me feel guilty. I only want it on an hour so I can have some relief from the pox Sad

Tell him if it's so warm, he can bog off and sit out in the garden for a bit. - -Then while he's out there, lock the door--.

YANBU. Not sure why he's being so stingy, unless you genuinely are considerably poorer then church mice?

Bah, strikethrough fail, you get the idea.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 21/04/2014 20:09

Put the damned heating on. And remember this for the next time DH is unwell. Then you can remind him that you burned your Florence Nighingale outfit back when you had the pox.

He's an unsympathetic twat and deserves what's coming to him

We've just come back from a short break abroad, and the house feels cold. I've stuck the heating on. Roasty toasty now! (and definitely no guilt!)

We haven't turned ours of since about September last year. Def not going off yet. It's on 24/7 to keep house at warm temp

Why do you need heating on for a bath - YANBU to have a bath BTW

Artandco · 21/04/2014 20:34

Carol - I couldn't bath or shower with no heating as would be frozen

mamicar · 21/04/2014 21:43

We have a 100 year old heating system Grin I need heating on to heat water lol.

He's not bothered about money btw. Just him being hot. He's hairy n fat though Grin I am in my bath. It helps Grin
