To be wanted for more reasons than just my breasts?

Writerwannabe83 · 17/04/2014 10:14

The man in my life is obsessed with them. Always grabbing them, appearing to think they are his property etc. I'm pretty sure my breasts are the only things that matter in his eyes. He very rarely looks at my face when I'm talking to him and he is always gazing at my chest - sometimes he's discreet about it but other times not. I'm pretty sure he loves me but sometimes I wish I was more to him than just a pair of boobs.

I'm hoping that as our time together progresses he will realise there is more to me than just my breasts and will enjoy spending time with me just for being me, but as it is right now nothing seems to appease his bad mood unless he has access to them and I can't help but feel he's just using me.

ikea I was looking forward to dd looking at me as she fed.....

She just kind of stares off behind me looking either really bored or concentrating really hard. Then I get grunted at if I shift her position. She looks like Grant Mitchell when she's feeding too, which is a bit disconcerting.

Writerwannabe83 · 17/04/2014 10:51

DS also appears to look right through me - and if he's not doing that he's trying to twist his head round in all sorts of directions to have a nose at what's going on around him....it does not make for an easy and comfortable breast feeding experience Smile

I don't have a Grant Mitchell baby, but a baby that looks like a Cress Head. Do you remember those pots you could buy that had faces painted on and then Cress would grow out the top to look like hair? DS is very similar to that as he has gorgeous blonde hair and the bits on the top are all curly and seem to float up into the air! completely defying gravity - very cute but very bizarre Grin

Cress Head is his nickname Smile

I gave up feeding when I would stagger bleary eyed into 15 month old dd's room at 1,3, and 5 am and get a cheery 'hi nips!' greeting.
She too would squeal with excitement at the prospect of a feed

Loopylouu · 17/04/2014 11:08

Grin at cress head!

I'm actually mix feeding as dd was very slow to gain weight and I am just not producing enough milk - don't know how seeing as she feeds for England.

So if I'm not feeding her myself, I'm giving her a bottle. That's all I do with my days.

EasterSmegs · 17/04/2014 11:12

It's when you foolishly teach them to say 'mmm' when they're eating solids that you start to actually regret bfing. Grabbing my boob on a crowded tube carriage and loudly growling 'MMMMMMM', then grinning at your wit? Thanks DD2.

Wish the floor had opened and swallowed me. The other passengers did not help by finding it hilarious Blush.

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 17/04/2014 12:12

I remember my ds staring at my breasts, smiling and actually licking his lips. He didn't get subtlety.

He also attempts to get his hand under the top to get them out.

Aeroflotgirl · 17/04/2014 13:38

Run run for the hills he sounds awful!

Aeroflotgirl · 17/04/2014 13:40

Oh right I get you Smile

RachelWatts · 17/04/2014 14:20

My DS2, at just over 1, is big enough to try and unwrap my boobs if he wants some milk. Including in the middle of the supermarket when he's in the trolley seat and I'm pushing the trolley.

Oldraver · 17/04/2014 15:42

OP...my DS is 8 and was b/f until just after he was 4 (morning and nights) so he was used to getting in bed with me every morning for a feed. He has now spent as much time NOT feeding as well but will still jump into bed and nestle between my boobs

PeachTrees · 17/04/2014 21:38

OP just want to apologize for my comment earlier...was definitely not with it ! Blush Thanks

TheRealAmandaClarke · 17/04/2014 21:45

I promise he loves you for more than your breasts.
Although he does love them too Easter Grin

Bodicea · 17/04/2014 21:46

Writerwannabe83 · 17/04/2014 22:38

Dare I ask what the Motorboat is?? Grin

15mo DD will quite happily pull down my top in public and bury her face in my chest when she's tired or hungry, despite only having actual feeds now at night. She too never gazed into my eyes - I think my norks are just too big for the right angle for that. Instead, she stares fixedly into my armpit with a furrowed concentrating face.

Geordiegirl79 · 17/04/2014 23:43

Loopy Grant Mitchell! Ha ha ha! That is disconcerting.

Bodicea · 18/04/2014 00:17

Motorboat - see vince Vaughan in wedding crashers - face inbetween breasts - you get the picture :-)

DancingtheTittyTango · 18/04/2014 08:55

My DD is forever demanding boob on tap. If she hasn't got a tit in her mouth she isn't happy, hence my username!
