Toddlers eating greggs?
Fat people eating macdonalds?
P&C parking?
Fat people eating?
Disabled loos?
Fat people?

My own personal judgement is reserved for those people who hold their knife like a pen.

Sparkling I KNOW it's unreasonable. I KNOW.
It's just that I used to work with a couple of people who were rampant Help for Heroes supporters and hoodie-wearers, but were also unfortunately quite bigoted in other areas. We had various charity collections at work and they refused to donate for Oxfam or Shelter, and were very vocal and offensive in expressing their reasons.
So I associate HfH with bigots. I know it's bad, and of course the vast majority of supporters aren't like that. But that's my knee-jerk reaction when I see hoodie-wearers. What more can I say?

Blithereens · 15/04/2014 15:42

Poor treatment of animals upsets me the most. It doesn't have to be a really big thing - if someone is walking their dog on a busy road without a lead, for example, I will automatically assume they are basically a serial killer Easter Hmm

RunnerBeen · 15/04/2014 15:43

People with terrible, cheap hair extensions where you can see the bug lumps of glue or the comb attatchment.

I know that's shallow but they just look bloody awful.

Wickeddevil · 15/04/2014 15:44

As ephemera says this is cathartic so may I confess to the following judgings?

People in supermarkets who only buy branded goods - it shows a lack of imagination.

Mums who wear one (probably designer) outfit for school drop off and another to do school pick up. It is wasted on me as I am clueless about what you are wearing, but seriously where do you find the time?

People who answer their phone or txt at the dinner table. It is v bad manners.

neiljames77 · 15/04/2014 15:45

ephemeralfairy - would a cup of camomile tea help you calm down?

EvansOvalPiesYumYum · 15/04/2014 15:50

ephemeralfairy you do know that is a bit weird, don't you? You do know that. If not, someone needs to let you know Smile

Odaat · 15/04/2014 15:50

I remembered my number one pet hate! My number one judgement - it literally makes me change my ideas on the person completely. I will never look at them the same and always feel they are slightly 'dirty'.

An unclean toilet. Poo stains on the cistern. Bloody gross! Clean your shitter, Jesus.

Bonsoir · 15/04/2014 15:54

I second everything ephemeralfairy wrote except for the Help the Heroes business (I have never heard of them).

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 15/04/2014 15:55

Double denim.

MummyPigsFatTummy · 15/04/2014 15:59

But ephemeral, that still doesn't explain why being fat whilst wearing a Help for Heroes hoodie is an issue for you? That you would associate all HfH hoodie-wearers with being bigoted is one thing, but why judge them extra for being fat Confused.

Anyhoo, I judge people who judge fat people or people who eat crap or people who have poor taste (according to the judger) in clothes.

I also judge dog-owners who let their dogs foul the pavement/park. And so does DD(4) - we have lengthy conversations about it.

OnIlkleyMoorBahTwat · 15/04/2014 16:06

Oh yes, Wickeddevil. People who will only buy Heinz, Persil etc and will not try own brand, or go to Aldi, or Lidl at all, because they know that the supermarket brand is inferior.

Also, people who believe that the half price wine in Tesco is actually worth the pretend full price.

HoneyDragonDoesNotGiveAShit · 15/04/2014 16:08

I couldn't reach the signs .... I'm judging you for assuming I'm tall Sad

ephemeralfairy · 15/04/2014 16:09

Look. The fat thing...that was meant to be a joke. I don't actually care what weight people are. I've been overweight, and I've been very underweight and I'm sure I've been judged for both.

I know the HfH thing is totally irrational and unreasonable. And I tried to explain what I think are the reasons for it. I can't say anything else really.

Benefits as a lifestyle choice
Vegans
Vegetarians
Eco mentalists
Prius drivers
People who vote Labour or Liberal

MummyPigsFatTummy · 15/04/2014 16:15

OnIlkley and Wicked - you are absolutely right about this EXCEPT for own brand breakfast cereals. They are, without exception, the work of the devil.

Callani · 15/04/2014 16:16

So today I had a colleague accidentally judge me. We were talking about budgeting, eating out etc and she said "Ugh I don't you just HATE people who eat McDonalds?"

So obviously I then had to own up to having had a McDonalds last night for tea and she went "Oh, no I don't mean YOU obviously, I mean it's clear from looking at you that it's an occassional treat, not that you eat it all the time like some people, that's what's truly disgusting"

I didn't have the heart/guts to tell her that despite being quite slim I quite enjoy a McDonalds on a regular basis... because you can't be a greedy guts and be skinny obviously Easter Grin

Jerboa · 15/04/2014 16:16

People who would save an animal over a child Easter Hmm

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 15/04/2014 16:17

Aldi boil in the bag rice is shit as is Tesco own brand tomato puree. Oh, and Aldi own brand peanut butter.

bigdog888 · 15/04/2014 16:22

People who would save an animal over a child

I'd save my dog over a random child without hesitation, but a random child over a random dog every time

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 15/04/2014 16:26

Text speak when the person is clearly using a QWERTY keyboard. No excuses.

dashoflime · 15/04/2014 16:26

There's a woman at playgroup who gives her toddler the choice of going to snack time. AS in: "Are you hungry or would you like to carry on playing?"
Snack time is there to teach Dc's the discipline of going to the same place, at the same time, to do the same thing as everyone else. It is not meant to be optional.

When this same woman told me her child was a bad sleeper, I thought "no wonder with your attitude to routines"

There's also a woman I met who's child has never crawled because she walked around with her, holding her up by the hand, until one day she was walking. She was really pleased with herself because her kid was some kind of walking prodigy. But crawling is a developmental stage- its important for brain development. I judged her as well.
