to be made up dd's school have finished for half term !?

Dd's school broke up for easter holidays today and im made up cant wait to have her all to myself. Booked one week of work. A few days out already planned. Anbody else love half term ?

Haha cracking mrs dont get anyone else confused. Maybe someone should start a thread of "sayings" and we could translate the Welsh/Liverpool ones.

I'm scouse. We say 'made up' here :)

north Wales here and it is end of term. Half term was in Feb. A term is 12 Weeks from Jan to Easter with the half term hol in the middle. The next half term is whit at end of may and the end of term is July. I've heard made up and it comes from Liverpool. There is a big scouse influence along the north East Wales coast.

So happy! We're overseas, school starts at 7 am and it is 9 weeks since my 7 and 5 year Olds had a holiday. They have been so tired. Today (the weekend) has been blissful; they've instantly relaxed.

My dd1 has just walked (18) she moved out four months ago, but still stays home once a week - makes my day
