I haven't worked out the full theory yet. But while half the country's busy stapling cotton wool to baseball caps they're definitely up to something.

Oh I love Easter bonnet time, I remember being so excited by getting ready for the concert every year.

Year 1 of DD1s nursery I spent hours hand sewing flowers and ribbons.

This year she made it with me from a paper kit, not half as pretty but she loved it twice as much because she made it.

I love the pre school DS goes to. They asked for the bits to be sent in then they made the hats with the kids. I have now put this years hat made my pre school away to pull out next year if school want one!

Glue guns £6 in Lidl!!! And you can get glitter glue refill sticks there too! Just thought I'd share for those in need. (I don't even need one yet but have hidden it in my wardrobe so DH doesn't tell me off!)

I usually don't go in for the craft thing because DS2 isn't usually bothered, but this year he wanted to wear a Pyramid on his head, what this has to do with Easter I have no idea and neither does he but this was his decision and it was Final!!!

After much discussion, the design and production department was outsourced to my ex, and while he had to slavishly stand over said Pyramid with a hairdryer last night I could sit and watch Frozen.. I am in charge of fripperies however, which means I have to stick a couple of pictures of Anubis on it today with Pritt Stick, which he as already printed and cut out for me.

Child better get an honourable mention in next weeks newsletter is all I'm saying cos I would rather build a boat than have to communicate that much with my ex.

Definately get a glue gun. I got one for about a fiver from Amazon, which included loads of glue sticks.

No more messing about with PVA or Prittstick only for it to fall apart in 5 minutes. I glue gun the life out of everything
