I've had a tiring day, early morning with ds and all day trip. Come home, shoved dinner down me whilst chatting to my dh across table. Then, along with a friend, I shoot to a meeting in evening with some influential people.
I get home, go upstairs to take my make up off and I've A HUGE YELLOW HEAD ON MY CHIN.
AIBU to expect either my friend or dh to have flipping well mentioned something before sitting at this meeting.
My immediate reaction was to squeeze it, so it's now too late to assess how bad it looked in non bathroom lighting. But it was nothing less than 'prominent'.
Ps friend I've know for about 1.5 years so not lifelong but still ...

Was it a hot spot Grin ?

pictish · 07/04/2014 22:06

It is generally considered bad form to make an issue out of someone's plook.
They will have assumed you already knew about it.

thenightsky · 07/04/2014 22:08

God you are so NBU op. The DH should have deffo told you before you went out to meeting Shock

Funnyfoot · 07/04/2014 22:08

It can be difficult to say 'erm Standard you have a big ass yellow head on your face did you know?'

However the typo has tickled me OP Grin

So it's the rule to let a dear friend and wife exit the building to go to her public with a zit the size of Milton Keynes. Is it, is it??

I am being slightly light hearted, I've had wine and getting over it. But c'mon guys. I think i would have at least intimated a disturbance going on in the vicinity of the below mouth area.

My dh would have just grabbed me and squeezed the life out of it Wink just because he enjoys doing it.

whois · 08/04/2014 08:33

Yeah they should have defo told you!

I find it really annoying when friends don't tell you you have good on your face, or smudged make up or whatever. Just bloody well tell me so I can sort it out! Much less embarrassing to sort it out at the earliest opportunity.

Flossyfloof · 08/04/2014 08:42

Better than a bogey. Marginally.

Burren · 08/04/2014 09:56

From the title, I was imagining you throwing a strop because you felt chilly and expected your family and friends to stand around you at the bus stop warming you with their body heat because you left your coat at home.

WilsonFrickett · 08/04/2014 09:59

I would have pounced on you and squeezed it into next week

candycoatedwaterdrops · 08/04/2014 11:13

Not only would I have told you but I would have dealt with it for you. Wink

ladypete · 08/04/2014 11:22

But what would you have done about it? Squeezed it and gone with a bleeding scabby mess on your chin?

sunbathe · 08/04/2014 15:41

It was hidden by your make up, so nobody noticed.

Timeforabiscuit · 08/04/2014 17:00

I ALWAYS tell people, after a tomato soup tash incident... it scarred me.

I also have the kind of face and demeanour which doesn't come across as catty (I hope) - so I think I just about get away with mentioning !

Ijustworemytrenchcoat · 08/04/2014 17:05

I have made my partner promise to tell me if I get a whitehead. I then get annoyed at him if he points it out because it's embarrassing. He can't really win.
