It's like when I'm tired and DH says "Shall we go to bed?" and it makes me think "FUCK YOU! I'M A GROWN-UP NOW AND I'LL DO WHAT I WANT."

Oh God, I do that. Blush I'm sure it comes of having a mother who too rigidly enforced bed time.

The litter signage doesn't bug me though I've never noticed it

Oh. My. God.

He asks me to stay up with him to finish working because he will "only be five minutes". Nearly an hour later he claims he finished ages ago and was waiting for me Hmm then we go upstairs - I creep, he stomps, waking baby who immediately requests a bumper bf.

So I'm awake bfing at least an hour after I wanted to be asleep, with husband snoring and farting next to me. Angry

On the other hand, when he's away I forget to go to bed and suddenly it's midnight and the DC will be up before seven and ARGH.

The "Don't drink and drive" sign on the motorway bothers me. Surely we know that before we get to the motorway? Are there drivers who see that sign on the M4 and think "shit! I forgot! Better pull over!"

Apart from all this, i think having to read a non-essential sign then puzzle over its bizarre wording or
questionable message is distracting and potentially dangerous when driving at 70mph.

I have a real problem with being told what to do. And whatever DH does with regard to bedtime is wrong as far as I'm concerned. The poor man can't do right for doing wrong.

Actually, I'm amazed that he's put up with me all these years.

Yeah, I get the whole agency thing.

Curiosa

The wankers who drop litter justify it by saying they are giving some poor serf employment
