Close them all and Home educate.

Choice is so massively overrated… I don't want a choice of schools, I just want ONE decent school in my neighbourhood that my kids and their friends can go to. Job done.

Ban all types of school. Chuck the kids out onto the street for 5 or 6 hours a day to roam around so that their parents and teachers can have some peace.

Yes, this system sounds familiar though.
I remember, you used to be able to walk your kids to school in safety because everybody else was doing this too.
If you went to work it was fine because your dc walked with all the other kids who all lived very close together.
