To think if you're running a B&B

you shouldn't expect people to take their shoes off at the door... and put the slippers on offer on.

I'm watching Four In A Bed

The woman said 'well this is my home and thats how I like it'

Well I think it may be your home but it's also a business...

If it's a B&B rule that guests should not wear shoes indoors, why is this not made obvious when booking or on their website? I always take slippers with me anywhere but they are always in my main suitcase. It would mean a lot of faffing to unlock and open it on the front doorstep. I wouldn't want to walk indoors un my socks or tights where others have had their possibly bare septic, similarly clad feet.

It doesn't hurt to wipe your shoes on the mat on the way in though. Never ceases to amaze me how many don't bother. Bet they do in their own homes though Confused

Def not the norm and I've stayed in lots of B&Bs! Would expect to take muddy walking boots off though.
