Have looked at a weather map. Lovely weather everywhere but here it seems.

Seems like a metaphor for my life at the moment

My DD1 is doing a 100 happy days challenge of some sort on FB. She has had the week from hell, losing her horse, our 2YO terrier who is her soulmate is in a specialist vets with a haemorrhage in her spine, she's being victimised by one of her teachers very unreasonably (and yes that's being dealt with) and she's struggling immensely with her anxiety.

She's still put some lovely photos on FB with the positive bits of her day. Anybody who didn't know better would think her life is idyllic.

Been in the house clearing junk and moving 3 bedrooms for nearly 2 weeks! My eldest dc is mid diagnosis for asd and we had to call the police last week as he tried to push my husband down the stairs and has been violent every weekend for weeks.. Shall battle on regardless.. Bet the neighbours have lots to gossip about..

Suzyjane1 · 29/03/2014 18:17

And yes, a friend of mine regularly puts photos on fb of her and her girls looking beautiful and she also had an affair.. You never know x

We had a friend and her DS over for a water fight in the garden, know I think I'm coming down with a bug x

We've done a five hour round trip to MILs to scrub her kitchen and bathroom as she really isn't coping any more. Totally knackered and just scrubbed my self in shower and poured a glass of wine! I won't be putting any of this on FacebookGrin .Hope you're feeling better soon OP.

Facebook is a hotbed of attention-seeking, cringey, banal bullshit. My life's been so much the better without it.

^Just that^

I do feel your pain, I have posted pictures of my children enjoying an afternoon on the beach, but we have spent the last nigh on 4 weeks confined to the house due to a cp outbreak that hit all three children, badly! So while others have been out enjoying themselves I have been inside so it is once to get out (even if I do have to bite my tongue and ignore the 'looks' as ds2 is still badly scabbed up due to his awful cp outbreak). I hope you are all better soon and can enjoy some nice weather then.

Thanks everyone
Dh is home now & I've cheered up !
Will get an early night I think as clocks changing & kids likely to wake up hideously early to give me their cards
Life could be worse Grin

Finding it hard to be bothered liking people's happy photos this week. My Nana died on Wednesday, I am stuck far away in America and unable to return home to help... All my family are ralleighing together and planning the funeral and laughing at find memories, when I just seem stuck outside alone and desperately sad. It is a nihilistic sort of day.
