On hands free and has been since he walked through the door!!

This is really annoying me. He's talking away and laughing and he's supposed to be fixing my washing machine.

How can he be working accurately whilst constantly talking? Also it's v v v rude surely? Would I be unreasonable to ask him to stop his conversation and work?

I'm very glad to see I had been misreading and you did not in fact pee on him

mrs jay Good for you Grin.

I too had a young man come to repair my washer/dryer and was on his phone all the time laughing with his girlfriend.
I told him I didn't like that as he couldn't possibly concentrate on his work.
He retorted that he could and carried on.
The next time I used it all the sockets in the kitchen tripped and he had made a careless mistake as confirmed by the next electrician I was sent.

yes it is rude, you are a client and they need to concentrate. would they behave like that in front of a line manager.

granted they may be self employed but not good to build up client base.
