AIBU to think Stephen Lawrence should be allowed to RIP

Most people on here are parents (as am I) and the thought of the loss of a child whatever age is horrific. However does there come a time as in the Lawrence case when everyone should allow the victim to rest in peace. I am not using the AWFUL term 'closure' or 'moving on' but just allow death in peace and be with your memories of the loved one however it happened. Those involved everyday have to be with their thoughts and consequences for the rest of their own lives.

Hello everyone

Thanks for the reports; we've banned the OP now. (We can't see any evidence that they're a namechanger - they've only posted under this name since joining a couple of weeks ago and we can't immediately see another account associated with this registration - but do let us know by email/report function if you think this is a duplicate reg of another MNer.)

We're minded to let the thread stand though, as there are lots of statements of support for the Lawrences on here, and explanations of why the campaign for justice for Stephen Lawrence continues to be a significant issue for many people.
