To think 3 is too young to go on a residential?

Friend's daughter is 3 and at full time nursery. All the kids are going away for a two day residential trip, spending the night away from home.

I know I can be slightly pfb about my DD so wanted to see if others on here thought 3 was too young to be away from home without parents? I can't pinpoint why I wouldn't be comfortable with it, but I just would!

DH starts work 6am, i start 7am. when DS was an OC ( only child) he used to sleep up his nans home ( before school/nursery)

I dread to think what would happen if it came a time where a parent couldn't get over night childcare.

Nope, no way. My 10 year old is going on a 4 night residential with school later on this year and i'm bad enough with that! My kids have stayed overnight with grandparents/aunty from a very young age so I'm not being PFB, we left 2 of them with grandparents for a week while we went on honeymoon.
